Christmas, 2016 – The first annual Christmas rice-giving from the COCO NUTRIFY’s founder’s house.

VENEREMUS CHAPEL:
In 2016, the founder of COCO NUTRIFY coordinated and made a significant financial contribution to this new chapel next to the church in her home town. She, the Parish Priest, and key town members managed the entire project, hiring subcontractors, procuring funds, and overseeing the construction. This effort was the first of its kind in recent memory.

RICE DISTRIBUTION:
In 2013, in the wake of the disastrous typhoon Haiyan, food was scarce in the home town of the founder of COCO NUTRIFY. People were so hungry that she took a 3-hour boat ride to a nearby town and back to buy sacks of rice. She brought them back, divided the rice into family-size portions, and handed them out until the rice was gone. This video was taken during the distribution of the rice.
